It all started with a dream of working together and building a future with purpose. Seeing the need for solutions that addressed not only current pest intrusion but also future problems, the Christner family set out to transform Whitmore Pest & Wildlife Control into one of Denver’s premier providers. In 2011 the journey began with Wilson Christner bringing his pest control experience and Marvin Christner bringing his building experience to provide long-term solutions to pest & wildlife intrusions. And of course, we cannot forget Richard Christner & Sylvia Christner providing the much-needed “behind the scenes” office & financial support!
Our Story
Since those first few years, we have grown to include many new “family” members - both by blood and friendship - with each one bringing skills that allow us to continue providing quality pest solutions. No one person can “do it all” and as a team, we are able to focus on locating the problem, removing the pest, and working to offer long-term preventative solutions. Our pest, wildlife, and repair/restoration departments are able to work seamlessly to provide all of our clients with quality solutions from start to finish.

Proudly Volunteer Firefighter-Owned
At Whitmore Pest and Wildlife Control, community service is more than a principle—it’s our mission. Our co-owner, Wilson Christner, is a dedicated volunteer firefighter, bringing the same commitment and passion for protecting homes to his work with both pest control and fire safety. With red card certification for wildland firefighting and a distinguished award as Firefighter of the Year in 2017, Wilson brings a high level of professionalism and readiness to every aspect of his work.
In his role as a lieutenant with our local fire department, Wilson's experience in protecting homes and communities translates to the safety and reliability we bring to pest control. His experience as a first responder adds a unique layer of expertise and reliability to our company, ensuring that safety and protection are always our top priorities.
We take pride in being firefighter-owned, as it reflects our deep-rooted commitment to serving our community—both in times of need and every day in the work we do.
