WHITMORE PEST & WILDLIFE CONTROL’S RESPONSE TO COVID-19

As you all know, the health and safety of our customers and staff is always top priority. We have always been dedicated to promoting health and wellness, but we have introduced new protocols to further minimize the spread of COVID-19. It is our desire to take the necessary precautions so that we can continue providing #essentialpestcontrol throughout these uncertain times.

3/27/2020 – NOW OFFERING CLEANING & DISINFECTING SERVICES

Whitmore Pest & Wildlife Control, as a “essential service” defined by the federal government, is now offering cleaning and disinfecting services for novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Current evidence suggests that novel coronavirus may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces. According to the CDC, cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.

3/20/2020 – COMPANY COVID-19 POLICY UPDATE

CLEANING & SANITIZING:

For the health and safety of all our customers and staff, we continue to focus on practicing good hygiene. Here are a few highlights:

  • Our field team has eliminated the customary handshake greeting.
  • Our field team is practicing social distancing by minimizing face-to-face interactions and discussing inspection notes or recommendations over the phone.
  • While inside your home, our team is committed to wearing the appropriate PPE to protect you and themselves.
  • Our field team is also committed to regular hand washing with soap & water (or hand sanitizer) — especially before and after serving on your property.

INTERIOR MAINTENANCE APPOINTMENTS:

In an effort to honor the CDC’s recommendation for social distancing, we have suspended interior maintenance services until further notice. We will continue to provide quality maintenance insect and rodent control services by proceeding with exterior treatments as scheduled and will resume interior treatments for the Summer and Fall quarters as allowed by developments in the COVID-19 situation.

INSPECTION & INITIAL SERVICE APPOINTMENTS:

We have also suspended interior inspections and initial treatments for insect and rodent control services until further notice. When able, we will continue to provide quality insect and rodent control services by proceeding with exterior treatments. (Please Note: If you have an interior pest, such as bed bugs or cockroaches, that threatens the health and safety of your residence or establishment please discuss alternate treatment options with our office)

Exterior damage and wildlife inspections will continue as scheduled and interior wildlife services will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We will continue to be dedicated to providing quality solutions to your immediate wildlife concerns.

PAYMENT FOR SERVICES:

We have always striven to provide flexible payment terms and methods of payment, but we would greatly appreciate payment at the time of service.

To encourage social distancing and minimize face-to-face interactions, our staff will call you after each service to discuss any inspection notes and to receive payment over the phone. (If you need to discuss a payment plan with our office for an upcoming service, please do so in advance)
